Last year, I was privileged to contribute a small part on this beautiful project. Along with my friend/co-worker Tarn Greenlaw, I helped in 3d sculpting the Moa (particularly the legs) under the supervision of Dan Cockersell and James Doyle. :) The whole thing was digitally sculpted, then they got 3D printed in wax and cast in bronze. After that, the amazing workshop crew assembled the giant structure around a steel armature before refining and finishing the surface.
